This is a symbolic scene of me helping my friend, Jamie, up off the ground after his braces broke. Once Jamie broke apart of his braces and could not get up by himself,  like normally, no matter how he tried. Because the break was at the hip, his brace  did not support him and his legs slid from underneath him. In desperation, he dragged  his body to where I helplessly sat in my manual wheelchair. Jamie then grabbed my  chair to pull his useless lower body up into an eventual standing position. Even  though tail-tell signs of both of our disabilities are evident and seemingly hopeless,  a friend’s help can overcome anything.
